Parents and Carers

At Growing Minds Day Nursery we value that parents/carers are their children’s first and most important educators. We believe that in order for children to receive quality care and early learning that suits their individual needs, parents/carers and staff need to work together in a close partnership. The two-way sharing of information is key to this. The nursery team welcomes parents/carers as partners and this relationship needs to be built on trust and understanding. It is important that we, as practitioners, are able to support parents/carers in an open and sensitive manner. Our main priority is to establish strong communication links with our parents and carers.  This enables us to effectively work alongside each other providing your child with the best start in life.

Famly

At Growing Minds we use an electronic management system called Famly. This system allows parents to access to their child’s profile at any time of the day, anywhere in the world, using any computer, laptop, tablet or smart mobile phone. Having a paperless system enables us to easily and securely provide and receive information about your child/children; helping us to build stronger parent partnerships.
